I'm pleased that you are interested in learning more about Nanaimo Innovation Academy. We've created something different and special. We focus on the best possible ways to support you and your child, by finding new and innovative ways to engage and promote your child's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. We help your child grow into an independent and confident student ready to embrace the challenges of the future. 

 

Children in our Forest Program and Forest Explorers Program will spend their days outside in Nanaimo's various ecosystems--forests, lakes and beaches. The children in our other child care programs will also spend a lot of time outside exploring nature. We value the natural environment and encourage sensitivity, respect, and understanding for all forms of life. Children will learn where their food comes from and issues of environmental sustainability. We believe that getting dirty in nature is an inalienable right.
