Nanaimo Innovation Academy is non-profit society that operates three child care programs

 

The Child Care Facility 

Our child care facility is accredited by the Vancouver Island Health Authority (VIHA) of British Columbia. 

Rules and guidelines for licensed child care facilities are found in the Community Care and Assisted Living Act, the Child Care Licensing Regulation, and the standards of practice. Our licensed child care program meets and exceeds provincial government requirements for:

• Health and safety

• Staffing qualifications

• Staff-to-child ratios

• Space and equipment

• Program standards

Staff at Nanaimo Innovation Academy 

All of our staff are professionals in their field and our teachers are highly-qualified educators--certified Early Childhood Educators (which regulated and approved by the BC Government). Throughout the year, all staff attended numerous professional development workshops and conferences.
