Below are the fee schedules for the 2022-2023 school year. These monthly rates are based on:​

• Low student to staff ratio (no more than 16 in a class with one certified BC Teacher and one Forest Coordinator (ECE)

• Providing staff with livable wages, which helps to prevent high staff turnover

• Providing healthy, high-quality, local, organic foods prepared by a certified Red Seal Chef who holds her holistic nutritionist certification. Read more here.

• For the Elementary School, daily excursion fees are included in the cost

2022-2023 Elementary School Annual Fee:

At Nanaimo Innovation Academy, fees are calculated based on the overall year and then divided into 10 equal monthly payments. This accounts for any holidays and scheduled closures.

 

Please note, there is a one-time Application fee: $100

There is also a $500 tuition deposit due at the time of enrollment to hold the spot (this can be used towards the last month or transferred to the following year as the deposit). Some conditions apply.

Fees Can Be Paid Annually, Quarterly, Or Monthly:

• Annual tuition fee payments receive a 5% discount – Due August 1 = $10545 ($555 savings)

 

• Quarterly fee payments receive a 2% discount – Due August 1, November 1, February 1, and May 1 = $2850 per quarterly payment ($200 savings)

• Monthly fee payments do not receive a discount –Due on the 1st of each month starting August 1 (except January 1 and July 1) = $1160 per month for 10 months.​

​

• Monthly fee payments over 12 months instead of 10 months –Due on the 1st of each month starting August 1 (including January 1 and July 1) = $966.67 per month.

After School Child Care Fees:

​

We have space for 10 children in our after-school care program. Preference is given to families that need a full time space. Fees are payable on or before the first day of each month.

Camps During School Closures:

​

We plan to organize camps during the closures for families that still need care. More information will be provided prior to the school closures.
